Catonsville Man Accused Of Repeatedly Pointing Gun At Driver On I-695 In Anne Arundel: State PD

A road-raging man who repeatedly pointed a gun at another driver during a dispute on I-695 in Anne Arundel County has been apprehended and is facing multiple charges, according to Maryland State Police.

Catonsville resident John Lang, 32, smirked at the camera after being arrested over the weekend following a probe into multiple assaults and threats that were made on the interstate.

Police say that on Sunday, Nov. 3, Lang pointed the loaded weapon at another motorist multiple times on I-695 in the area of Route 2 in Glen Burnie.

At one point, it is alleged that Lang got out of his vehicle and once again threatened another driver with the gun before fleeing the area.

At the time he was arrested, Lang was found in possession of a loaded handgun during a search of his vehicle.

Lang was arrested, taken to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center, where he was charged with five counts of felony assault, use of a firearm during a felony crime, weapons offenses, and other related charges.
